I've got Cubase SX, and I've started tinkering with it, mainly just looping drum tracks playing along to them.
So I've made some phat lines, but I need to record them - my question is, how do I plug my bass into my PC so I can record it? Some sort of soundcard? Or is there a simple jack to USB connector (I know its not gonna be that easy!)
Any help would be much appreciated - I'm well overdue getting into production so any other tips would also be great
Cheers!

Something like the M-Audio Firewire Solo interface will do what you need. You need a firewire interface though, its not USB. They do a USB one called the Audiophile interface if you haven't got firewire.
