It does look pretty sweet, but is it not aimed at bands etc?

when you look at that commercial is certainly looks like that, but dont think its specifically aimed at bands
but for me as a "reason" user this looks pretty damn sweet
an easier way of getting audio in the mix then using reason with rewire...cos rewire is just a hassle

Why not just jump ship and head for Logic or Cubase or something?

first of im on PC so Logic is out of the question
secondly, i have tried Cubase, Live, Sonar & Reaper and thy all make music making a real pain
while with Reason, atleast for me, its FUN, easy & fast to work with
im not saying its the miracle tool or anything, it just fits my way of working i guess

so while Record probably aint bringing that much new to the DAW market
it seems, atleast for me, to be a great way of getting more out of Reason :)

I love the concept of Reason but I have too many VSTs to jump. I have always loved Project 5 by Cakewalk. It has a better work flow than Sonar which I have also. The only down sides are that it's not multi core compatable and they stopped development. It's going dirt cheap now. Try and acquire a copy chuck see what you think?
