GLOBAL COMMUNICATION SPECIAL 18th Jan - BREAKING NEWS!

Post by high eight » Mon 16 Jan, 2006 4:06 pm

Having checked with Mark, and got the go ahead, I'm now free to post details:

I present a radio show on nuskoolbreaks.co.uk radio fortnightly from 9-11pm GMT. Dont be fooled by the name, it's primarily a breakbeat station, but the DJ's on there, myself included, are open-minded people that appreciate all electronic music and beyond. Mark and Tom have lots of admirers on our forum, and radio station.

To celebrate the release of the new Fabric Compilation compiled by Global Communication, I'll be dedicating this week's show to the work of Mark Pritchard and Tom Middleton.

I'll be playing tracks from across the years, all relating to Mark & Tom's work, plus the Universal Launguage label.

I'll be dedicating the two-hour show to this, GC and the related projects have been a huge influence on me, and have played a big part in me doing what I do today, so I'm taking this opportunity to give some respect to Mark & Tom.

************BREAKING NEWS!***************

I now have 5 copies of the Fabric 26: Mixed by Global Communication CD to give away on the show.

And if that's not enough we're also being treated to a special 30 minute mix from the boys themselves!

What you need to know:

Place: http://www.nuskoolbreaks.co.uk

I podcast the archive, so yes there will be a safety net if anyone misses it. Would be good to get a load of peeps on the live stream though, if you can make it.

Will announce winners tomorrow. Gotta pull em out of the hat!

Apologies for tech difficulties, but I have a sneaking suspicion that someone off this board may be getting something through the mail soon.
