Besides listening to old GC, Reload & Orb I am listening to my dead dads old records - Chick Coreas 'Return to Forever' impressed me - I know most of the Hendrix and Zappa he has - But I hadn't heard Chick before - anybody got some laidback 60s-70s recommendations?

got a few corea albums....but havnt heard that one
Wilbert Longmire - Sunny Side Up
is a real treat....especially "Starflight"
"Good Morning!" is also ok...might be a bit cheesy, but i like it :D

Bob James And Earl Klugh - One On One
have sampled a few of the tracks on this one heheh

Joe Sample with Ray Brown and Shelly Manne - The Three
very nice jazz album...not so much laidback....just pure jazz :D

The Crusaders - Street Life
the whole album is rather laidback....very nice me thinks :D
a VERY well sampled album, if not OVER sampled i must say
and im guilty aswell hahahah :D

non of the above, with exception to "the three", are very hard to find
just a few.....there must be loads more...
but thats what i come up with on the top of my head
peace & respect
