Seriously though, well done; looks great as always.

Nice to see some more faces to these avatars too

My Senior thesis was based from a photo by Sally Mann of her daughter hanging from one on their porch, I took the image and put three people hanging from hayhooks and occupying/deoccupying in various configurations, and have since pared it down to a solo that I have since performed for Cirque du Soleil as well as countless various STREB productions.

No huge significance other than hey what's a word/name to come up with for an avatar...

cheers

Excuse my lack of knowledge about such things, but what does 'big up' mean?

Was just flicking through public TV here last night, and caught about twenty minutes of a programe about S.L.A.M. & Streb. Pretty interesting stuff! Ms. Streb was explaining her adoration for gravity, and giving a brief summary of her life. Interesting lady. You guys looked pretty cool too. I saw the part you guys do with a woman inside a box - throwing herself around. Again, looking really cool. I think I also heard The Biosphere being played, whilst loads of you were jumping in and out of a huge metal wheel......cool show!

Hi Hayhook

just been looking at some more STREB clips on Youtube including this:

WOW! :o

Can you post more details about Paris when you get them or better still are you guys likely to perform in the UK at some point?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jURz15ijWEs

and here's an excerpt from our wheel piece, with a score of The Biosphere (GC Remix) by Reload... woot.

wish it was more close-up.

the Paris shows are July 22-28 at various locations around Paris (outdoor shows) a stripped down repertory show (little to no tech/no rigging/no big machines etc). but good stuff either way.

there is talks of a London show, (Sadler's Wells?) but definitely nothing solid at this point. I cross fingers but have learned not to hold my breath for dates until I have a plane ticket in my hand....

cheers.

The wheel – nice & works well with the music. Do you need to take motion sickness pills before doing that? :D
& ta for the info.

yeah, that piece can be a doozy...
wanna eat the right things (or not have eaten at all) before attempting it.

the scariest thing, is if you mess up, it will cut you in half...
