Hi.
Had a good listen to these, and there's some pretty crazzzzzzy music on there. Not to fond of the ragga/reggae tracks, but there's some really cool techno mixed in too. Not sure why, but it actually all sounds cool. I used to love all the Rhythm & Sound stuff from Mauritzio and M etc, but I've never heard that kind of style mixed in with Shaba and the gang before. Strange stuff!

Yeah, he's got alot of flavors mixed in there. We went to school together out in Montana. He grew up MAD ADD so his parents gave him a drum set to try and channel his energy and focus, he then went from drumming to DJing and programming. Has been living in Berlin and SF for the last 6 or so years and just moved to London to get married. Was key in a lot of the Grime stuff that came out of those parts.
anyway I thought there was some pretty fun stuff on there so I wanted to share... andyeah, not a big fan of the reggae stuff on there either.

HA.
Yeah thanks T. Never really had that much to do with "grime", but have been slanging lots of beats to MC's in London and elsewhere lately. Did some parties as well.
Most of the "techno" in those mixes is so overtly dub-influenced, I just can't aviod going there (into the dub/reggae bits). hearing things in different contexts is what DJing is all about for me. And in London, dancehall parties are the only places where you find people truly dancing (seriously), and not just posing in their white belts and hipster garb. Get into it.
love.
