I can't seem to download this from you mate - I have no idea why?
It keeps freezing on me, and I've tried it twice again!!
I'm on a stupid download cap here, so I have to watch how much I'm downloading.
I will try again tomorrow, but if anyone else can reply, just to let me know that this is all ok!
gggrrrrhhhhhhhhh - sorry big fella

EDIT - I'm gonna give this one more try right now to see if this is working or not - I'll let you know

I managed to download it after the second attempt (my browser froze the first time). Did a quick sneak peak and the file seems to play fine. Looking forward to listening to it soon!

Got it!
Sounds excellent.
Forgot 'they' still like to use human voices in house music nowadays -
Not had a full chance to have a listen as yet, but there's some wicked music on there.....especially third track from the end (I think).
Thanks for putting it together.

OK!
Had a good listen over the last couple of days, and it's pretty damned good.
The only thing I'd like is less of those 'Best Things In Life Are Free' kinda tracks by Luther & Janet - I'm not into people wabbling away on house tracks BUT that is only me, and I can see/hear where you heart is with regards your music.
In saying that, I felt in general, that the mix kinda lacked a purpose; a direction (if you will) :x, and I'm just so used to mixes - mixes that I know and love, really taking the listener on a journey; God knows where to, but a journey all the same.
I know, I know it was only two hours, and where can you go in two hours, but I just felt you were coming back to places where you'd already explored (Janet & Luther once again)!
BUT it is your mix, and you know exactly where you wanted to go with it, and you absolutely know this kinda of music better than me, so good on'ya for taking the time to put it together, and if anything, educating these sorry ears in music I should be exploring further.
I'm gonna certainly give it more listens, and leave it's door wide open as it is pretty cool; just most definetely NOT what I would have imagined coming from a Cogan set....

thanks for the feedback steve :D
hahahah....yeah i know ppl can have a hard time with gospel house
but as there really arnt any real gospel tracks on here, except for "He Moves", i have a hard time seeing your point hahhaah :D
oh well enought of that hahahahah

cant say that i have ever thought about makin a journey with a mix, cant say i have ever listened to a mix in that way either
for me its more about creating a mood, a groove...makin people happy :D
and creating a loveable vibe :D

let me ask you this....where there any tracks that you found good enough
that you might buy yourself, that you weren't expecting?
fav tracks in there?
worst track in there? :D

Chuck Cogan:
and creating a loveable vibe
.........YOU HIPPIE!!
:P :P .......PEACE, MAAAAN!!
Listen, the entire mix was pretty good; as I've said, it's just absolutely not what I expected from you, but why should I have expected anything when I've never heard one of your mixes before? Can you see my point?
It's not that I thought any of the tracks were crap - they were all pretty decent; just some more than others. You have to understand that getting to know you in the time I have, I just reckoned a house mix from you would have been a little different, that's all!

P.S. I had to edit that last post of mine cause it was a shambles. I don't know what happened with it, but I've fixed it anyway.

P.P.S. Tracks 1,3,5,6,8,9,19 all have people singing their hearts out ; absolutely the point I was making :!:

P.P.P.S. My favorite tracks are Persuader & Fine Taste - both really doing it for me here; and yes, I'd buy the crap out of those two records :D

You're on big'fella!
I'd LOVE to hear that !
I'm gonna do a chilled/ambient one, cause I'm feeling the love right now too
I listened again to the mix last night, and all the tracks are pretty good. I just didn't expect a die hard Global Communication fan to be into vocal house music; but then again, maybe that's the on-going beauty about GC, in that their fans span right across the musical board

....is that well said or what :!:

Hi there chuck cogan

Sorry for not commenting sooner on this mix.
I really enjoyed it - happy, happy, happy! :D
I guess cos apart from lots of other music I also like A Night at the Playboy Mansion, Lazy Dog and Buzzin Fly.

Also felt it DID take me on a journey as it peaked and then calmed down whilst still keeping the happy energy. Only listened to it during the daytime so far but get the feeling that it's going to be even better at night with my disco lights turned on :D

You Sook!

Don't tell him that  I'm trying everything to get him onto some good, honest to goodness techno.
