Re: howdy!
YO!
Good to hear from you - you old dawg!
You'll love NY! There's just SO much to do there. May should be a nice time to be there too.
Life for me has been busy! Just got a new job about three months ago and love it for the first time in my life.
Been following your music making over the last year or so - some nice music coming from you man.
I bought an Emulator 3 and it's sitting here and I don't know how to work it. I've been trying to get into the music making thing once more but I just can't seem to get motivated. I'm starting to get really pissed of with wires.
Anyway, life is good. Stay in touch on here a little more often if you can and I'll do the same.
Gonna try and get things moving here once more - you know we love it!
Looking forward to the new GC sounds, can't wait!

Yeah still about Mr Sole...
Facebook & Twitter seems to taken the edge of the site as more stuff get published elsewhere now.
Where did you get the E III from and how much space does the thing take up?
Know where you coming from Steve so much intention to make stuff but real life does it's best to get in the way!

Re: howdy!
Hi Darlo.
I got the EIII from a bloke in Calfornia.
I had my eye on it for yonks and finally took the plunge!
It IS fecking HUGE to answer your question and very, very heavy!
It's a funny thing as I always wanted one but never had the dosh - now I have the dosh and the last thing on my mind right now is to get rid of it!
I just don't think making music on it is the right way to go...
Anyway, it's up for sale and here's the link if anyone's interested:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... _500wt_950
...as I said, it's feck big and heavy so shipping is EXPENSIVE!
Darlo, how are you?
I hope you're well...

Re: howdy!
My my that thing looks like a monster.
Bet you could pretend you are Chris Lowe all day on that
If you still want to mess around with music strip it back to basics. I went from an all singing and distracting DAW set-up to this :http://www.energy-xt.com/
The day job/life is getting in the way at the moment but when I steal 5 mins here and there, the ease of doing stuff is really cool.
It not as super DAW with tons of plugins etc.. but it let's get ideas down quick.
Try the demo see for yourself
Let me know how you get on...

Re: howdy!
What's up, Steve? I haven't been on forever either, been crazy busy. I'm getting ready for a move across country to Brooklyn! Glad to see you and everyone else is still alive and kicking.
Hayhook, what bar do you work at? Let me know! I'm moving to Park Slope in a few weeks, so I'll be around!

The bar is called Tandem. I'm there Mondays (all night) Thurs, Fri, Sat from 6-11

Re: howdy!
Thanks, Hayhook! My original plan was to move to Bushwick, actually, but my friend and I found a great deal in Park Slope instead. A friend of mine lives in Bushwick, she likes the area. Thanks for your work address, I'll definitely come by and say hello.
Steve, are you still living in Pittsburgh?
