Grrr...pesky Play! I went with them too. I got all excited last friday as my account said it had been shipped and then on tuesday they changed the status to 'packing'. (gimps)
Since there's a UK postal strike on now for around a week we'll have to wait even longer. The phrase 'all good things come to those who wait' is wearing a bit thin!

Not released in the US. Refuse to order Import and pay 60$ with the way the dollar is to the pound now, and damn Bleep won't put it up already.

I can send you on if you want to PayPal me?

I'm of to buy my copy today, so I can just pick up two. I'd just want cost, plus shipping, which is probably around $30.

I apprecitate it matt. but I am going to wait.
I have patience, and am waiting to see if the
Special US 2cd packaging rumour is true.

Come ON bleep.
(was there some sort of itunes exclusivity thing for a couple of weeks or something? Excursions took a while to come out vs. itunes as well.)

Pure Groove in Archway seems to have gone all Indie on me, so they were "out of stock" on the weekend. Just bought the entire 12-track album for £4.74 on iTunes using my new iPod Touch. It's my first digital download, so I like to think I've started with a good one. :D

Bizarrely, the Excursions 1 EP is also £4.74 for 4 tracks, one of which is on the album and the other is Lament which I have on 76:14 and from here?!

Someone above complained about Lifetracks costing about $60 to import to the US. I just paid 10 pounds for it on amazon.co.uk, with shipping to the US. That's gonna be like $22, or as I like to put it, Totally Worth It.

Thanks for the heads up on the six degrees site. $15.99 includes handling. Much better than $22 or $30 or a greatly exagerated(I admit) $60
And will be pleased as punch when it arrives (definitely can hold out considering I already have 2/3 of it via previous releases...)

PS the six degrees compilation "Invocation" has Pulusha on it....

The Lament track is the live version from the Union Chapel so well worth it.

I haven't bought the album yet!
I heard the tracks I haven't already got (I've got about two thirds already through various means - all above board) and don't think they're that great really. Love Shinkanshen still though!

Sorry but that's what I think.
(it's a picture of Mrs Mills by the way)

It arrived :D
I know it has been criticised for not having much new material but I definitely recommend it.
I like the fact that I get to listen to all his tracks on one album, arranged in a particular order "that begin with drama and energy and decelerate gently in to a state of peace of tranquility" (from Tom's liner notes). Another way to look at it is to pretend he has done one of those DJ compilations (afterall, mixing skills aside, it's the choice of tracks and the order they come in that makes you like a DJ compilation). I even took his advice by listening to it with headphones so that I could hear the "halo effect" on Moonbathing. :)

Plus unlike most of the people who post here I'm not so much of a trainspotter so only recently discovered some of those tracks as MP3s anyway.

AND like the title suggests, it's his Lifetracks – not a collection of new tracks.
