the essence

for those of you who care, itunes seems to have an 'updated' version of the Time Out Of Mind album. It basically features three additional tracks to the original CD: Without You (Wajeed Mix), Son Of Bongolia, and my personal favorite The Essence.
Sounds good on CD!

The Essence is one of my fav Troubleman tracks; absolutely love it! That filtered sweep is the shit, to use a technical term... :D

The Essence sure does rock, never really liked Without You though

Found a few of Mark's tracks there too:
Jungle Mystery - Harmonic 33
Hear a Sound - Harmonic 33
La Luna la Donna - Harmonic 33
Kiss the Sky (Mark Pritchard Remix) - Shawn Lee's Ping Pong Orchestra vs. Nino Moschella
The Drained - Vertigo

Hey I just dl'd the three troubleman bonus tracks from itunes and they come at a crappy 128 bitrate. Is this how itunes always is or did I do something wrong. I think it's crap they make you pay and then send out low quality mp3/aac's.

Is there a setting I have set wrong that makes this the case (first time I ever bought music from them but if they really only sell 128s my last.)

anyone know?

no, Apple screws everbody. they claim 128AAC is the same as 192mp3, but we all know that to be bullshit. especially if you burn it to CD and back (to get rid of the DRM) you will hear a noticeable loss in quality. thanks Steve!
