Just picked it up, and I'm loving it. The B-side is better than the A-side! Nice work as always, Mark.

the tracks on the new e.p. are not really my thing, but I am trying!
any updates on the Reload lp?
are you gonna do some short stories with this one too i.e, Mr. Fripp?

Yeah last time i spoke to Dom he was up for it. I've been working on some Reload stuff, still finishing the Africa hitech album at the mo. Just finished a remix for Gonjasufi on Warp and doing a remix for Poirier whos on Ninja tune. The deadline for the Africa hitech album is mid June, so after that my main focus is Reload album wise.

Re: Africa hitech
is there any way, that you can do a really limited run on the new Reload, it would be just be sooo cool to have something super limited - maybe a special released initial 50 press of something nice!
i really miss the old days with limited editions etc... something numbered would be incredible! maybe something with an extra track or just something really cool... that would make my day!

Re: Africa hitech
I second the motion in having a limited release. Carl Craig just did a really cool limited release with his 69 project, he housed the album in a box on five records with a t-shirt. Gotta love that!
Hey Steve, I was thinking about you the other day...have you heard of Scuba? I know you don't dig dubstep/grime, etc., but you should check out his new album Triangulation. There are dubstep albums out there that are starting to get more melodic with more defined techno influences and this is one of them. I think you'd like it. Just check it out, see what you think! And get back to me with the report!

Any news on Music For Film, Television & Radio Vol. 2 ?
Re: Africa hitech
There's a new thing on honest jons thats interesting as well, T++ - Wireless. Kind of techno with bass but with more of a African feel on the Rhythms. Appleblim is good for that Techno/Dubstep vibe. If you don't like a track of his called Vansan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-AY77T4AKQ id say give up on 140 stuff.
Actually no dont give up Steve!

Re: Africa hitech
The 69 Carl Craig box set is amasing! I don't know if it's worth paying $100.00+ for the t-shirt, but it's so nice he's remastered and reissued all that stuff.
I'm seriously thinking about grabbing one!
Thanks for the all the links as well people. I have actually heard the Scuba mix CD and it's magic!
I think I'm into really space/sci-fi music and sounds these days - the more melodic, the better, but machine grooves are also sweet too.
I'll get on the youtube links tonight when I get home later today.
Nice to see some life on here as well - it's been way to long....

Yeah, the T++ is great as well, and you might also check out Ramadanman. And I think Shackleton is producing some of the best electronic music in a long time. Steve, if you can, check out his 3 EP's album, is REALLY good. Joy Orbison is also fantastic, if you don't like his Hmph Mngo track you have no soul!
