Great new forum Steve, cheers.
Will take a listen to your when I get a spare moment!
Here's a mix I made years ago using SoundEdit on OS9
http://files.me.com/njb/rml55u.mov
It was my first attempt at digital mixing - I could never get to grips with turntables and never had much vinyl anyway!
A lot of the mixes are pinched from Tom/GC sets and it's mostly Tom/Mark productions/mixes, with a few extra tunes I was into at the time thrown in (they're the ones that stick out like a sore thumb now!) and some cheeky samples.
I recently revisited it and added in a couple of extra tunes and chapterized it for iTunes (sorry, I know some of you are anti-iTunes) and have been meaning to let you guys have a listen to see what you think.
It was the start of series I did, each with a theme, but all including at least one Tom and/or Mark production. I got up to volume VIII (a double CD, mixed in Audacity), before I quit my job and no longer had the time to make them - I used to do them in my lunchhours etc.
[I did post it in response to Hayhook's excellent logic mixes, but some of you might have missed it there]

Really enjoyed that mix - thanks - I feel uplifted.
Loved 'Right On 4 Tha Darkness' at the end. For some reason never heard that one before.

Re: discotechnological volume I - funkyhouse
thanks for the kind words about the mix.
I haven't dropped by for a while (been super busy) but it's nice to know there's still some good stuff going on in the world of Mark and Tom!
