Re: Ancestors Gonjasufi Mark Pritchard Remix

Whoa, wait a second. Are my eyes deceiving me, or did Steve just approve of one of Mark's remixes, post 1997?
If I live to be a thousand years old I'll never witness a miracle like this again!

Stereo MC's remix

Anyone check out Tom's remixes of the new Stereo MC's single? Pretty damn good. One of the best and earth-shattering bass lines I've heard in quite a while!

Looks like both Mark and Tom are doing some remixes here! Which track are you touching up, Mark?

Re: Africa hitech

Yeah, the T++ is great as well, and you might also check out Ramadanman. And I think Shackleton is producing some of the best electronic music in a long time. Steve, if you can, check out his 3 EP's album, is REALLY good. Joy Orbison is also fantastic, if you don't like his Hmph Mngo track you have ...

Re: Africa hitech

I second the motion in having a limited release. Carl Craig just did a really cool limited release with his 69 project, he housed the album in a box on five records with a t-shirt. Gotta love that! Hey Steve, I was thinking about you the other day...have you heard of Scuba? I know you don't dig dubs...

Re: note with Pentamerous promo

Please do, Mark!! Please, please, please!
It's interesting to see only 800 of that 12" being produced. I remember getting a huge stack of them through the record pool I was in at the time...

Re: Africa hitech

Just picked it up, and I'm loving it. The B-side is better than the A-side! Nice work as always, Mark.

Autechre mix

There is a great new mix on the Fact magazine site from Autechre that I thought I'd forward along. It's REALLY good...it's got everything from old school hip hop, from trippy electro, to metal!

Re: Untold

Damn, Steve. You honestly can't find ANYthing positive about Mark's recent music? I simply can't believe that. Can't you just sit back and appreciate the top production that Mark is capable of? I love four to the floor music as much as the next guy, but why should anyone do that day in and day out? ...

Re: Untold

Pitched up the Untold track, sounds crazy for sure. Great track to get the crowds pumped up for sure. I'm checking out his other stuff as I type. Unlike the tone deaf Steve Sole, I'm digging it! Hey Steve, your Shamen record is on the way. Pray that I didn't leave any stinky delights in there with it!

Re: JMJ interview

bah, I'm alright. I just got laid off, so things could be a lot better. The economy is such a piece of shit right now and I'm not exactly looking forward to seeking work. I'm thinking about furthering my education even more right now.
What's new with you?

Re: Your favourite Middleton remix(es)?

Love the Hypogasmix of "Slid" by Fluke. His drum and bass mix of "Sun Rising" by Beloved, and his remix of "You Give Me Something" by Jamiroquai are seriously funky.

JMJ interview

Hey Steve, I was thumbing through the new issue of Mojo magazine and thought of you as I saw an interview with your hero Jean Michel-Jarre. Did you see it?
