Re: Global Communication - Back in the Box (2011)

Well, this is confusing. I noticed the iTunes version has far less tracks, and the Bleep version seems to have them all, but when I check the Discogs entry I see a Middleton mix of the Speedy J track that's not on the Bleep version. Plus the tracks are in a different order. Hayhook, you're saying th...

Re: Reload: A Collection Of Short Stories

UK vinyl is rarely sealed, though. And none of that Infonet vinyl was ever sealed, at least the records I bought never were. I wonder if this seller on Amazon sealed it themselves to make it look new...

Re: Reload: A Collection Of Short Stories

That's weird that your vinyl copy didn't come with the stories. Did you buy the album new or used? Mine came with the stories booklet, but I bought it new. The stories are quite good and stand alone as excellent pieces of literature. The author definitely has a passion and knowledge of science and s...

Re: howdy!

Thanks, Hayhook! My original plan was to move to Bushwick, actually, but my friend and I found a great deal in Park Slope instead. A friend of mine lives in Bushwick, she likes the area. Thanks for your work address, I'll definitely come by and say hello.
Steve, are you still living in Pittsburgh?

Re: Africa hitech

Just heard the new Africa Hitech album "93 Million Miles", and it is AWESOME. No other word for it. Hard to pick a favorite track, but right now the songs "Out In The Streets". "Future Moves", and "Our Luv" are bending my mend in wonderful directions. I think the latter song has a lot of Reload infl...

Re: howdy!

What's up, Steve? I haven't been on forever either, been crazy busy. I'm getting ready for a move across country to Brooklyn! Glad to see you and everyone else is still alive and kicking.
Hayhook, what bar do you work at? Let me know! I'm moving to Park Slope in a few weeks, so I'll be around!

Re: Ancestors Gonjasufi Mark Pritchard Remix

Your Gonjasufi remix is really fantastic, just a jolt of fresh air. It made me go and seek out the recent Gonjasufi album, and it didn't do a single thing for me, so nice work on the mix, as always. I was streaming your remix at work today and my co-worker said, "shit, that was awesome!" She normall...

Re: Ancestors Gonjasufi Mark Pritchard Remix

Whoa, wait a second. Are my eyes deceiving me, or did Steve just approve of one of Mark's remixes, post 1997?
If I live to be a thousand years old I'll never witness a miracle like this again!

Stereo MC's remix

Anyone check out Tom's remixes of the new Stereo MC's single? Pretty damn good. One of the best and earth-shattering bass lines I've heard in quite a while!

Re: Africa hitech

Yeah, the T++ is great as well, and you might also check out Ramadanman. And I think Shackleton is producing some of the best electronic music in a long time. Steve, if you can, check out his 3 EP's album, is REALLY good. Joy Orbison is also fantastic, if you don't like his Hmph Mngo track you have ...
