Re: new Tom remixes

Don't know if these are the same mixes of Sista Widey, but they've been on iTunes UK for a while.

Re: Lifetracks: pre-order

Looks like iTunes is making up for charging £4.74 for the 4 tracks on the excursion EP by only charging £4.74 for the whole Lifetracks album! http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=264365301&s=143444 Get in there quick before they realise their mistake - if you can handle the...

Reload - Archives

Hi all, does anyone have a decent scan of the artwork for this? I'm trying to tidy up my iTunes library ready for my new iPod Touch, and artwork is a must have for that cool coverflow thing! And on the subject of Reload, have you guys discovered lavamus.com yet? They've got loads of rare vinyl mp3 r...

Re: Excursions 1 - digital release

Here's a nice little link for all you Americans then:

Enjoy!

And if anyone out there's got mp3s of the Jedis 'Interfalatic Funk Transmission' (the one released on Clear) I wouldn't say no!

Re: Excursions 1 - digital release

I'm with Edlad - it's a bit of a rip off, but I'll still be buying them all! I've got the iTunes release and Lament is the same as the version that was recorded at the Big Chill festival a while back, complete with the choir and cheering at the end. It's nice, but I think I still prefer the version ...

I wonder if the 'Mark Pritchard' one is something new too?

Get hold of a copy of Audacity: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ as long as there's no nasty DRM on the file you should be able to import and use the filters to slow it down. It's not 'On' by Aphex by any chance is it? Cos I've always listened to that at 33 rpm (on plus 8) rather than 45 - it sounds...

Just checked the mix (which I probably downloaded off of you - cheers), it's the same song, but the version in the mix does sound a bit different. Do you know if there was a tracklisting for the mix? And did it say what the mix was called? The two I'm selling are called the Club Mix and the Carnival...

Cheers Inky I've re-ripped them at 45 rpm now, but it's all gone a bit chipmunk, so I shifted them to minus 8 and I much prefer them like that. Vinyl's now up on eBay if anyone's interested: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=006&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=16005911813...

Cosmos - Play To Win

Greetings, most knowledgable Jedis I've just got both Play To Win 12"s off eBay, and ripped them into the computer, but I'm not entirely sure I've done it at the right speed. I did them at regular 33, but they sound dead slow and come in at about 10:30. But at 45 they sound rediculous. Anyone know t...
