Re: GC LIVE AT THE BRITISH LIBRARY, LONDON

Was a cracking night! I agree with the above negative comments - the bar staff ought to have been taken outside and flogged. SO disrespectful. But me and Mattbirdfootball were both blown away by the performance. I had not forgotten how awe-inspiring their music is, and how timeless too. I was also p...

Re: Global Communication - Back in the Box (2011)

Quite excited about the Speedy J track on there. Its funny cos I think I first heard it on Colin Dale's Outer Limits show on Kiss. It was played in a mix and pitched up (sounds MUCH better that way!) - I am wondering if this is the reference in the title?

Awesome comp though!

Where can I see live music these days?

I am talking about technoelectro(nica) stuff, I always get to hear about the live gigs/DJ sets WAY too late (ie - after they happened!). I have listened to most of the tracks so far, but have been away since friday afternoon (work!) so I will sit down this evening with some decent headphones (kids in bed!) and give them all a 'proper' listen. Thanks to all for the comments. I actually have to admit that I feel a bit of a fraud too. W...

Managed to get something done though, shame I missed the deadline. Anyone point me to that upload place? *EDIT* Of c...

The trouble with forums is that they allow us the opportunity to sound off when perhaps it may not be reasonable or otherwise. We can hide behind our monikers and forum names and let rip with our opinions, without ever having to face consequences. I doubt any of us would confont Tom with opinions or...
