My favourite is The Rack Asphyx, this year appeared a lot of kitsch, and remixes, I'm waiting for some sensible suggestions.

tough decision here...albums by Tom Waits, Lee Van Dowski, and Thom Yorke were all tops in my book.
Steve , thanks for the recommendation of Robin Guthrie, it's a great album. Always was a fan of the Cocteau Twins but was a bit ignorant concerning the solo efforts.
