Tom in Bath Sat 1 July

Postby ben » Thu 22 Jun, 2006 9:26 am

Hi folks,

Tom's got a couple of gigs coming up:

Sat 1 July - Metripolis @ Moles, Bath, UK.

http://www.moles.co.uk/

(I live 10 mins from Bath - so will be coming along to this one)

Sun 2 July - Derry, N Ireland.

(perhaps someone can have a scoot around the club listings to see if they can spot where he is playing).

I live about 40 mins away from Derry, so I'll have a look and see where he's on.

Should be a good night!

It's also supposedly the second most polluted city in the UK - presumably due to its valley location, lack of breezes and proliferance of smelly old tourist buses.

Nice place though, for a new town!

Hi, Endless.

Good to see/hear from you.

I live about 40 mins away from Derry, so I'll have a look and see where he's on.

Should be a good night!

Yeah, I'm back here in Donegal for the next few months. The Angel & myself both determined that 'it' would be best not for me to be around right now in PA, due the fact that a lot of things have to get finalized with herself and her X, but more to the point, we both just felt that again, 'it', would feel much more respectfull if I wasn't around right now.
Just to be fair to people. :)

Anyways, how are you doing? How is NY NY, and have you any more piccies for us?

I hope you're well.

Hi.
Just back from seeing none other than, Mr. Thomas Middleton in Derry.
Couldn't manage to stay for the entire three hours due to my little brother working at six am this morning, but the couple of hours I was in attendance, were absolutely wondefull.
A lovely selection of tunes, especially those of the more housier variety, and the Madonna bootleg rocked this Guest's world.
But man, you have some seriously good house music, Mr. Thomas Middleton.

Was also lucky enough to have a quick five minute chat with the Jedi, and the first words uttered out of my mouth to my brother when I got back, was what an absolutely lovely fella, Mr. Tom Middleton is.
Seriously, Tom, you are a wonderfull ambassador for your craft, and it shines through in you.

I wish you nothing but happiness in your future endeavors, and I dearly hope our paths cross again sometime soon.

A night to remember for a long, long time.

Hi'ya Mr. Darlo.

Well, in answer to your question;
Did ya
A Have good time
: I had the best time I've had in ages.
T'was the first night I'd been out 'properly' in about a year and a half. You know that way, where you've your shirt ironed, your slacks pressed, a bit of the old gel in the mop, a dash of cologne (Chocolate Love - naturally ), my brand new Adio's on my patrollers, and I'm ready to paaaaartaaaaaay!! Feet didn't stop tapping for the full time I was there. Got to hear some lovely deep techno, some incredibly classy house, and some awesome breaks and hippy-hop all night long; ALL on a mighty big loud system......BOOYAKAAA :!: :!:
You knew it was gonna be good
B Stalk him around the club: nope, spent ten or 15 minutes in the man's company before he went on, and then left him to work his magic for the remainder of the night.

A great night, and just the nicest fella too. You could see it in him. Another fella came up and gave him a CD. You could tell by the look on his face, that he just loves what he does. He looked so happy to be given music from people. He's so enthusiastic, and it's lovely to see. Especially in this kind of music, where people can get really, really anal about stuff like that. I actually said to him "you absolutely love what you do, don't you", and he couldn't deny it; why should he?
A real, real ambassador of his vocation.

Go and see him, when he's in your neck next time.

You'll love it!!
