Excellent - where on earth did HMV, Amazon, Play etc etc get the wrong tracklisting from in that case? Very strange!

And have you seen this http://www.sanctuaryrecords.co.uk/index.php?page=1&l1=2&l2=0&l3=0&rt=NE&article_id=1129? I thought Mark was in Oz?[/url]

I think Mr. Mark leaves for Australia on October 3rd; at least, that's what he said the last time he dropped by here.
Maybe, if we all beg (or annoy) himself or Thomas enoguh, they would record the set and post it somewhere for all us poor sods who can't make it !
I'd LOVE to hear this !
In fact, I think I'm gonna cry  !

Shit, I am crying !

This is obviously being pushed quite hard, got an update email from HMV on Dance & Urban (yes I once did the dirty & bought rekkids from them) & this is the featured album at the top of the mail. It beats 2Pac, GLC & even the Pussycat Dolls as their big push for the month!

Does this mean they are going to reform to play some more dates together (I may be missing another thread somewhere else on the site but there's too much on here now for me to keep on top of). It'd please us poor sods that have dial up...

Absolutely NO WORD, Mr. O on any possible reforming ! Well, not at least that's been posted round'ere that I've seen of late.
But it does make you think; and are you quite right in thinking that a possible collaboration would be on the cards again some time, as why else would they be DJ'ing together again (to coincide with their album being re-issued), AND the fact that HMV are giving it the big sell too, wouldn't be too unfair to think a lot of buzz was being generated, and maybe (just maybe), a few thoughts of a possible follow-up as well ???

One can only live in hope !

Yeah, I got that Email from HMV too and you're right that it does give the re-issue a lot of prominence, along with a rather swifter re-issue of a classic album with extra tracks and a vague GC connection: Mylo. It's a shame therefore that it lists the wrong extra disc contents.

Either Sanctuary are battling back from their recent money problems and going for the major promotion on this one, or we have a fellow GC nerd in the HMV marketing department - or both. As much as I want this release to do good business for Mark and Tom and I'm delighted by the press coverage, I do worry slightly that it will become this year's dinner party favourite for other 30-something ex-clubbers like myself.

No on reflection that's crap - I was always used to say when younger that the test of whether you REALLY liked a band or artist was that you were genuinely pleased when he/she/they got really famous - as opposed to being resentful when your less clued-up mates started buying their records. And I know where I stand on this "group" above all others!

I always used to get really thrilled, when a mate would buy a track/CD that I got first; made me feel, kinda intellegent for a few seconds :) !
It also meant that whenever I went'round their place, there would never be any battles of what went on the stereo !

There really is, only as much Maiden that a man can take !

Does this mean you and Tom are already a no show for this gig and they are using GC's name to pull in the punters?

Mark, four of us are 'speed writing' an acid (type) track to be ready by 20th september. Seeing as I only have approx. 30 minutes a day that I can give over to music creation I have allowed myself the last two months to come up with something. You wont be suprised to hear, Ive almost finished it!
Seeing as you are a proffesional musician with entire swathes of time given over to making music, I think half a day to come up with your acid track would be about fair.
Possibly with one hand tied behind your back.
